Python Job: Junior IT Developer

Our digital innovation team based at our Newcastle Innovation Centre is looking for a passionate Junior Developer to join them. As part of Digital Innovation, you will develop and support solutions for P&G’s Fabric Care Research & Development team working on household brands like Fairy, Ariel and Bold. Your work will be to: capture, report, and visualize data to help develop the next line of industry leading products.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will drive the development of our applications and perform related system configuration. You'll work in partnership with R&D and IT experts to revise current practice and improve code quality as well as create testing documentation to ensure systems are fully compliant and maintained.

This role requires you to collaborate with key technology vendors to deliver strategic solutions and liaise with clients to translate their business objectives into functional beneficial technology.

You will be relied upon to make recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, and information security threats. You can expect to develop future facing applications focused on re-application and integration. We are looking for someone that will continuously seek areas to improve efficiencies and share best practices.
